Neither Yahoo!, MSN or any other email service is going to give you a Million pounds. If  anyone discovers they owe you a considerable sum of money or an ISA, they will most likely contact you in writing. "I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE" once again note the capital letters.  You may get an email from an American serviceman, unless you happen to have a lot of money to throw away ignore it once again delete it.

Should you receive an email from a Bank telling you you need to verify your account details online, don't do it NO BANK would ever do this, if there is any question about your account they will write to you.  No reputable organization will ever ask you to confirm such information by email, it may look as though it's from a real bank but it's not.

Click the following link to go to our confidential site https://www.ahighstreetbank.org (Don't!) the address to the left is of course a false one in a scam email it might just display the website address of your bank including the seemingly secure https prefix. Don't click it, just move your mouse over it and the real address will pop up briefly which is totally different to that displayed, see the example below. If a website is genuinely secure a closed padlock will be displayed in your browser status bar.
